One thing I can surely say is that the showerhead that come with apartments they are just a disappointment. They lack all the way around. And it's every apartment complex. So I was so excited when the opportunity came to review a showerhead.

Not just any showerhead the, HotelSpa AquaCare 7-setting Hand Shower with on/off pause switch. It comes in a box with the instructions, showerhead, hose and the o rings. No tools are needed other than your hands. 

It's easy to install. It takes less than five minutes to do it. The showerhead holder goes on first, just make sure it ends in the right direction. Next is one end of the house. Both ends are identical so it doesn't matter which ends. Make sure to use the o ring with the hose. They rubber band it to the hose so you will know. You will just hand tighten it. At the other end of the house you will apply another o ring and the showerhead. Again you will hand tighten.  That's it for installation. 

You have seven water settings. 

Water conserve aka baby is sleeping mode. This is very light and quite water setting. Yes it saves water, buy spraying less water. But this id's important for mommies. As the little one(s) are just asleep. But now you want to take a quick shower before they wake up. This is the perfect mode for that.

Shower + mist 

This is a soft but effective shower setting l. It's kind like a waterfall setting to me. Firm yet soft. 

Mist

The quickest way to get clean to me. It's lots of water. This is the second most soft setting. Also great for rising out the tub our cleaning the shower/tub.

Rain massage

This is the center setting. It's very effective. It's a medium hard water pressure. This is the main setting we use. 

Massage

This is very hard water pressure. Three main jets to massage where you need it. With the five foot house it allows you to massage your whole body if you wish. 

Massage Mist.

It's kinda like standing in severe storm rainfall. It hits hard. But this does relieve a lot of muscle tension.

Power Rain

A lot of water pursue. I like to use this one for rising out shampoo. But I also use it for delicacies you have to hand wash. It washed away soap the best. 

This is a large 4" chrome showerhead with a five foot hose. The bracket that holds the showerhead its adjustable. So this can be easily moved for any height person. It's easy to adjust it to the right angle for you. I found this to be an extremely nice kit. 

Would I recommend it? 

 The answer is yes. There is a setting for everyone. With a five foot hose you can easily do your whole body easily and more effectively than traditional showerheads.

Everyone should have an emergency preparedness kit(s). We as Americans have become dependent on things like electricity and clean running water. When something goes wrong we go into panic mode. Some of us know what to do in an emergency situation. But a lot don't. Regardless we all need to be prepared for the worst situation(s). Growing up I was a girl scout for over ten years. A tight sealed case:
 this case is sealed tight. It would keep bugs and water out.

Six water purification tablets:
This is important. As you need a drinking supply. And you never know how clean the fresh water you find is.

Two condoms:
They can be used to keep things safe from water. And to carry some things

A candle:
Can be used many ways. The wax makes a great seal. A light source you dont have to hold until you can get your fire started. Just to name a few.

An emergency whistle:
To signal for help when you can see or hear someone close by.

A led light keychain:
When you need light and have hands free.

Flint starter and a saw blade:
These are chained together. Basically this is what you will strike together to get a spark to start your fire.

A five pack of cotton balls:
Also used to start your fires. Use the spark to catch these on fire then add them to the kindling.

Two packs of salt:
One of mine was busted. Boo. But these are for you to ingest. Without sodium in your body so much can go wrong. Without you eating food your body will start to shut down. You won't take a whole pack at a time. Just a pinch here and there. This is a main component to your electrolyte drinks.

A multi purpose tool:
It has pliers, a knife blade,a Philips screw driver, a flat head screw driver,and a file. There are a lot of uses for these. I don't think they need to be explained.

A small compass:
You need to know direction. Most ppl don't know about the moss. And the north star doesn't shine during the day.

Wire:
Can be used in many ways. Fishing, set up a way to filter fresh wayer. Just to name a few.

Paracord:
There is a reason why paracord bracelets are used by outdoor enthusiast. You can tie things together to make a shelter, you can repel down a moutain if needed. There are to many uses to explain them all.

Six safety pins:
Can be used to hold a lot of things together.

A small sewing kit:
 Can be used for immediate repairs. But in my preparedness mind. I'm seeing them as emergency stitches. This is worst case scenario mindset.

Razor blades:
Can be used to cut meat or fish. Also can use to cut whatever you need.

Fishing line and four anchors:
You need to eat. Its easier to catch a fish rather than trying to hunt and kill with your bare hands.

A string pull saw:
You might need to saw some branches or a small tree in order to have firewood or to make a shelter.

A mirror:
Can be used to signal ppl far away for help. Also if planes are flying over you could use this to signal for help. Remember 3 short, 3 long and 3 short again. This is morose code for sos.

A quart size plastic bag:
Remember those water purification tablets. Well you fill this bag up with the water and put a tablet in with the water. Let it sit till the tablet is completely dissolved.

A pencil:
You can use it to mark where to cut on things. And on the papers.

A plain sheet of papaer:
You may need to take notes. Maybe of where the water is from the campsite. Or any other notes you can come up with.

A very basic guide:
It tells you come basic ideas to help you. Also has an emergency checklist. This is so if you are found unresponsive after a few days they can see what injuries you have wrote to keep you from getting further injured.

Overall it is a great basic kit to have. You will still have other needs but this is covering the most basic of them all.

VilGloss U Shaped Travel Pillow

Now I've had the chance to review several travel pillows recently. Each one was very different than the others.

So I got this one too sample and review. It does favor another pillow I had already received. But not all travel memory foam pillows are the same.

This pillow is a lot more firmer. To me this pillow is better for side sleepers. The memory foam is really firm. I do not know if it will get softer after some use or not at this time.

So in my trying this pillow I tried it the different ways.

On my back. Basically I used it in a "U" version. Which means the opening of the pillow was at the top of my head. The thick part of the pillow was supporting my neck. I was comfortable. It is good support for your neck. But I do like my pillows a lil softer.

On my side with the opening to the back of my head. My last favorite position. The thickness was to the back. So not very comfortable. It did give support.

The last position was with the opening to the front. This was my favorite position with this pillow. Supportive but not smothering. The extra thickness around my face felt comfortable. My neck felt properly supported. It allowed me to fall asleep fairly quickly.

Overall it is a great pillow. It's easy to fit in your carryon. Those pillows on the plane are used for the whole day. They don't switch them out. So its way better to bring your own pillow that you know is clean.

I recently had the chance to get some fun cute reusable bags to review. These bags look like fruit when closed up. 

They are very small and compact. So small in fact they can fit in your hand. Though small closed up they open up pretty big. When open they are the same size as a plastic grocery bag. These are easy to throw in your purse or diaper bag on your way out.

Much better than expected. This is a heavy duty bag. Made of thick materials.
On the outside us thick canvas material with leather accents, straps.  In the side of the bag are huge lobster like clasps. These help control the height if you want that. They also serve to attach the shoulder strap, which is included.  In one side if the bag is a zipper pocket next to the leather accent. This is great for cell phones our other needed items, like portable chargers. On the other side is a zipper compartment next to the zipper. So I live in TX, we have a dry heat, kinda like an oven. In fact we can bake cookies in our cars. So we go between two extremes. The scorching heat outside and the freezing coldness of the ac. Inside the box comes the steamer, a dropper, a charging cable and a carrying case bag. It's ready to fill. Just remove the back cover, gather water in the dropper. Open the tank, put the water in and close everything back up. There is no on off switch. You just slide it open to start it. The mist is cool too touch.  I actually enjoy it. Especially when coming inside from outside. The cool mist is refreshing.  I notice that afterwards my skin is softer, looks more even tone and the wrinkles aren't so deep. I would recommend using bottle water. Tap water will smell metallic. I haven't had to charge it yet, so I can't tell you how long a charge takes.  I did test the charger for about three seconds to make sure it did work.

This is a five position carrier. With this carrier you don't need to worry about hip displacement. As your baby's hips will be parallel to the ground. Start with putting the velcro closure belt tightly around your hips, secure the velcro. Then there id's a belt with a buckle closure. Secure the belt and tighten it. When applying this carrier for the first time, always have your partner or a friend with you. As you will need help tighten it to where you will need it.
Position one. Baby facing inward.  Basically they straddle the saddle inward facing your chest. After the child is on the saddle, then pull the to portion over the two of you. Have your partner/friend tighten the straps. They should feel secure. Not too loose. But not too tight either, as you want to be comfortable as well.
Position two. Outward front. With this one instead of facing inward they just straddle outward. The rest is the same. With this one I find my son likes the most. He can grab things, beware toddler reach zone. He can be alert and look around.
Position three. Inward back. Basically like from facing inward in reverse. It's like a piggyback ride in a carrier.
Position four. Side saddle. This is for the older ones. Basically the top part is removed and you just have the bottom part with the saddle. With this one you do have to hold the child. But rather strain your upper back the pressure is on the lower back. Great for kid's who can walk but have gotten tired.
Position five. Front saddle. Like side saddle but to the front.
There are many new features with this one. There is a sun cover for baby's head. Now this will probably work well with an infant's head. My toddler didn't like it and kept pulling at it. There are two clips to clip it to when it's on your baby's head. When not needed you can unzip it and put it away in one of the pockets. This one has a ventilation pocket. You unzip it to allow airflow. Then you roll it up and snap it into place. There are more pockets now for binkies, mom or dad phone, keys, ect. A major difference in this one is the saddle itself. Now they have always used a huge piece of heavy duty foam. However with this one the foam is half the size but still heavy duty. Now with this me and my hubby had different results. He found it very comfortable and had no problem. However I an a big woman and this did push on my belly a lil awkward.  I do like the changes a whole lot. Just the foam was awkward. Everyone knows the basics of what goes into an emergency preparedness kit. Food, water, flashlight, batteries and first aid kit. No one ever thinks utensils. Say an earthquake happens. Family First Enterprises Nursing Scarf

This scarf comes in four colors: pink, blue, yellow and black. I chose to do blue since it was a light color. The material is very breathable and light weight. It is dpuble stitched so no worries of it coming apart. 

To get the design basically you just twist it until you get the desired looseness/tightness that you want. You have two choices for wear a single loop infinity or a double loop infinity. I like the double better as Ranger is always pulling at everything. 

Now to nurse you simply unroll your twists. Overall it is good. But as you see I am a very healthy woman. And my son is real long for his age, he's almost 24 inches long. So that being said it covered almost all of him. But his butt did stick out. I kept having to pull it down.

It is nice and comfortable. But if you have any milk leak into it, it does do like a watermark look. It's the fabric. It's good and breathable but shows and spots. Now when it's rolled up you don't see it. You would only see it when unrolled and if your really looking at it.

So recently I was able to go try out a local place. With this I got to try new things that I had never experienced before.
Finding the place proved to be difficult. With the gps putting me about two to two and a half miles away from there. I had to call to find out where to go. I was explained it's at the shopping center where chicken express and jack in the box is. In the far back. All and all I was ten minutes late getting there.

The staff is very friendly. You do a check in and fill out paperwork. Just simple saying you are not pregnant, your not on any meds that make you sun sensitive and you will wear the special glasses.

In the lobby they have many items available for purchase, no pressure to buy. But I did see a lack of prices. I didn't have to really sit in the lobby right after check in I was ready to go back got the first service.

First up was the hydro massage. For this remove objects from your pockets and your shoes. Now for this you lay on your back. You can choose one of the programs. I did number one, it is a 25 minute program. What I would suggest is to turn every five minutes. I didn't think to do that til the last ten min. I would flip when it got to the butt area, as that is when the jets weren't strong. They had a music system but I couldn't figure it out. I would recommend bringing a Bluetooth headset and just  listen to music in your phone. Another thing that would have helped to make the room more relaxing would have been some aromatherapy. The rooms are pretty dark. Overall I did feel a lot better after the massage.

Next up was a led light facial. This is something I had not done before. They gave me two cups. One is a wash to clean your face of all particles and debris. After you dry your face you apply step two, just as you would a lotion. In the room you will see a bed with a helmet looking fixture. Also in this room they do teeth whitening. But for that you will need to buy a kit. With the kit purchase you will get two sessions and a take home pen. The make takes 20 min. You do have to wear the protective goggles. Pretty much lay there. About a third of the time under the mask your face will start to tighten. Afterwards my deep wrinkle on my forehead was almost completely gone. Something the Vitamin C serums I have gotten haven't been able to do. After the treatment you are given a lotion to stop the tightening.

Next up was the SlimCapsule. This one was a lil awkward. They give you this cream, I believe it's the PB Burner cream. It's a thick cream like Vaseline. And has a sweet cherry blossom smell. You are suppose to rub it ask over your body from the neck down, laying it on heavy in your trouble areas. You then have this suit to put on. They say it's a sauna suit but it's not. I've worn these in factories before as clothes protectors. I assume it's either so your not lying nude in their capsules or so you don't get that ointment/ cream all over everything. My suggestion is just bring a change of underwear to go under the suit. Now here is the thing, now I'm a pretty good size woman. I've gained quite a bit these past the months, stress and stress eating will do that to you. I'm around a size 16/18 posing more around the size 18.  The suit did fit my belly. But I'm really top heavy if you know what I mean. The zipper broke right where my girls are. So I couldn't zip all the way up. Just a heads up for my busty girls out there. Also with the suit is another piece of cloth. No one explained what it was for but I figured it out. On the inside there is velcro right around where your neck would be, it's to hang it there to keep the heat in and away from your face. Before you get in you will enter your weight. They have a scale so you can weigh yourself. Once you lay down you will pull the capsule close. The bed you lay on will be vibrating. Makes me think of the crazy jiggle machines of the 60s.  Your going to lay there for 25 min. It got up to astound 160°F.  You have two neck/ face fans to blow cold air. They only go up to 7. I was at the max within 10 min lol. Total calories burned 176, it had a counter to tell you. Now I didn't feel dropping sweat everywhere. I only felt that on my bottom side. Which surprised me because usually I get a lot of boob sweat. But that area was barely wet. With the most expensive plan I do believe the slim capsule is unlimited. I cover that at the end though.

Next up was tanning. I know it's hard to believe but at the ripe age of 34 this was my very first time. I got to try a bronzer tanning bed, the Velocity. It is a 15 minute bronzer bed. I was given a tube of bronzer lotion to apply. Now I didn't do a traditional tanning bed. I layed on a formed plastic shelf . The goggles made it very hard to see the start button. I probably pushed it three times when it finally started. After the machine cuts of it displays a message to wipe down the machine. Now I didn't see much of a difference at first.  Pawan did say he saw a big difference. Later I did get a lil darker, though not much.  But I wouldn't expect a lot from just one session.

They offer many other tanning beds with different times. Some are more heavy duty than others. As well they offer a moisturizing capsule. That one hydrates the skin.

Would I recommend? If you are a tanner yes. The staff is really friendly and you can get in and out fairly quickly.

BATTOP Blue prince tent Play house Castle Tent for kids Indoor and Outdoor

I can't belive the size of this. So I got this in the mail. It comes in a round bag. It is essentially a pop up tent. Be careful opening it up, it will spring open. Now this is a nylon fabric, be such as it is thin. But that is to be expected. Just like a regular tent, the shell is the same.

 To put it up, you have telescoping poles. Grab the poles and go inside. Yes it will be a pain at first but, as soon as one is up its better. Stretch the poles out the longest side to the bend starts at ground level. There are black sewn in holders. These are to make sure you don't tear a hole. Insert the bottom into the sewn in holder, there is a slit for the pole. It took me oh, 30 seconds to find it. Start fitting the pole together. Once you get past the bend and it's standing up but not finished. Insert the last tip into the holder its much easier this way. Then finsh connecting it. Afterwards there is a yellow string around where the bend is. This is to tie the pole down. Repeat till all four are done.

It is between four to four and a half feet tall. I dont know the exact measurements. But its large inside as well. Me, my husband and our son all were able to sit comfortably inside this tent.

It has two mesh windows to allow air flow. Here is the only problem I did notice, inside the tent , rather I be alone or with others is rather warm. The material doesn't breathe well. Now be it I was testing/playing with it iside an apartment. So I can not account for outside usage.
You have a "door" which you can tie open or "shut" it. To shut the door, there are five Velcro tabs. Two midway down, two at the bottom of the door and one at the base in the middle of the door area. I perfer the door open and so did my son.
My son took right away to this tent. Since I put it up he was right away in it.
Now note this is a large tent, it does take up a lot of room.

We are getting ready to move so today I took it down to see how easy it is to "pack up". This tent is hard to pack it back up. It took way longer to pack up than to put up. I think we twisted it to fit into the original bag 8 or 9 times before we got it right. The instructions are just pics. Which didnt help. Maybe it because it was the first time making it so hard. When we move it will be going up in my son's room. When we have the space. I didn't think it was going to be this big.
