Now I will warn you if you have cats it will take a few times to really accomplish any results.

 It's simple to use, if you're animal will let you. Both of my cats didn't like it at first. They would get up and run away. After the third attempt one cat warmed up to it. It took five attempts for the other cat to give up and let me do it. Basically it's like a brush but instead of the bristles going downward they slide at a slight angle. Therefore being able to get the hair and not hurt the animal. Once it starts to get "full" of fur there is a button you push that removed the hair downward. So you can easily grab the wad to throw it away. 

This comes with a soft silicon cover for the blades. Now I have a friend who has a dog. I wanted to see how a dog would react, since cats are finicky. Her dog took to it right away. She was amazed by the results. Apparently dogs that have been to the grommers before love it. It cuts down their hair without the buzzing clipper sound.
